Manufactured to your desired custom size, the patented EcoTight Shutter improves fan efficiency and reduces cold air leakage. Its heavy-duty, durable twin wall profile frame was designed for longer life and stability of shutter. Individual Eco Adapter clips allow for expansion and contraction while reducing air leakage and light. Excellent cleanability with durability to withstand pressure washing. Widely used today in the outlet dampers of positive pressure facilities.

The patented EcoTight™ Shutter is designed to enhance fan efficiency and reduce cold air leakage. Custom-built to your specifications, it features a heavy-duty twin-wall profile frame for extended durability and stability.
Its aerodynamic design optimizes airflow while minimizing light penetration into animal rooms. In independent testing of a 30″ shutter (not mounted to a fan), the EcoTight™ outperformed Double L’s standard PVC shutter with 21.8% more airflow and 17.1% less air leakage.
A standout feature is the side profile with patented Eco Adapter Blade Clips, which allow for natural expansion and contraction—reducing both air leakage and light intrusion. The blades are designed to stay secure—no flipping over or getting stuck open.
Each blade includes a rubber seal for a tighter closure and pivots on a continuous fiber rod for added strength and longevity. The shutter is also easy to clean and built to withstand pressure washing, making it ideal for demanding ag environments.
