AC3010 Insulated Attic Inlet Placement in Poultry House
AC3010 Inlet Placement in 40′ – 50′ Wide Poultry House
Width x length of house divided by 1500 = total number of inlets needed. Do not exceed 20 inlets per house.
With a 40’-50’ wide house, alternate the inlets 2’-3’ from the peak of the house. Place the first and last inlet 20’ from the end of the house. Subtract 40 feet from length house and divide that length by the number of inlets left + one = the spacing of the inlets.
For example, 14 inlets for a 40 x 500 ft. house (minus 40 ft) = 460 divided by 12 plus one space or 13 = an inlet every 35 ft.
AC3010 Inlet Placement in 60′ Wide Poultry House
Width x length of houses divided by 1500 = total number of inlets needed. Do not exceed 20 inlets per house.
With a 60’ wide house, alternate the inlets 5’-6’ from the peak of the house. Place the first and last inlet 20’ from the end of the house. Subtract 40’ from the length of the house and divide that length by the number of inlets left + 1 = spacing between inlets.
For example, 20 inlets for a 60 x 500 ft. house -40 = 460 divided by 18 + 1 space or 19 = an inlet every 24 ft.
